Overview
Certificate II in Retail Make-Up and Skin Care has been designed as a standard entry level qualification for the Beauty industry. It applies to those wishing to develop the skills and knowledge to begin a career in the Beauty industry.
This qualification reflects the role of individuals who are competent in communicating in the workplace, interacting with customers, demonstrating and selling make-up and retail skin care products, and performing routine salon or store functions.

Qualification requirements To achieve a Certificate II in Retail Make-Up and Skin Care a total of fifteen (15) units must be completed. This comprises: Ten (10) core units, and Five (5) elective units.

COURSE DURATION
The time frame for this course depends on the course structure you choose. As a guide, it will range from 8 weeks full time to 24 weeks part time. Flexible day classes run Monday through to Saturday morning 9:30 to 1:00 and evenings; Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday 5:30 to 9:00, extra hours don't incur additional fees, we want our students to be the best they can before they complete their training. A completion time-frame of 8 months from commencement is imposed – students continuing beyond this period will need to re-enroll in units not yet completed at their cost.
