NailTech is a registered training organization (RTO), registered by VETAB and authorized to issue the following AQF qualifications from the Beauty & Hair Dressing Training Package which is designed to support the vocational requirements of the industries. Qualifications that NailTech offer relate to the specialist areas of Nail Technology, Beauty services & Hairdressing.
NailTech offers qualifications that are based on nationally endorsed competency standards.
The qualifications certify achievement of learning outcomes identified for the specific level of workplace performance in relationship to the qualification, each qualification achieved at NailTech is deemed appropriate for entry into the industry for which the chosen qualification is specific.
NailTech offers institution based training where its trainees receive full theory and practical training at the premises of the college; trainees obtain practical experience in a fully functional salon environment this is referred to as workshop participation. As a part of the Hairdressing qualification, trainees also receive the benefit of workshop training, however are expected to obtain industry experience with hairdressing salons.

Language, literacy and numeracy skills of individuals are taken into account in respect to the qualification that is being sought.
Assessments are conducted to comply with the AQTF standards and are adapted to the needs of individuals; under no circumstances will the assessments being conducted exceed the language, literacy and numeracy of the industry needs.
At NailTech we appreciate that many may have some industry and training experience, all trainees will be given fair opportunities for the access of Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) and the opportunity to provide evidence of the achievements of the competencies for the qualification. Trainees wanting to apply for RPL and credit transfer need to indicate in the section provided on the enrolment form. Once this is done the applicant will be provided with the appropriate documentation. Successful candidates will have their course time and costs minimized. It is the responsibility of the trainee to provide all the relevant work and training history documentation.
NailTech will issue formal certification of full qualifications to candidates who meet all the requirements and achieve competency in every unit.
In recognition that an individual has achieved competencies in part qualifications, a statement of attainment will be issued in the units of competency achieved.
